Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of https://metadac.io (the "Site"), operated by Metadac FZE, Al Shmookh Business Center, 1 UAQ Free Trade Zone, Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates ("Metadac", "we", "us"). By using the Site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.

2. About the Site

The Site is the corporate website of the DAC ecosystem. It presents Metadac and its brands and links to the product sites dacos.dental (DACOS) and dacademy.ai (DACademy), which are separate websites governed by their own terms and policies. Content on the Site is provided for general information and does not constitute professional, medical, or clinical advice.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Metadac FZE and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The MetaDAC, DACOS, and DACademy names and logos, as well as DACOS Omni™, ZeroDrift™, ShieldBase™, DockingMatrix™, TrueZero™, and Intelligent Workflow Training™, are trademarks of Metadac FZE. The DACOS system — including its geometry and calibration methods — is protected by a registered Hague design and a pending international patent application (PCT Patent Pending).

You may view and print pages of the Site for your own internal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display of Site content requires our prior written permission.

4. Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • interfere with or disrupt the Site, its security features, or the infrastructure it runs on;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or related systems;
  • use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or bulk-download Site content or data;
  • submit false, misleading, or unlawful content through our forms;
  • use the Site in any way that violates applicable law.

5. Downloads and DACOS digital files

Digital files made available through the Site or the wider DAC ecosystem — including the ArtiSync calibrator, the Gemini Calibrator STL files, DACOS CAD and attachment libraries, and related calibration and geometry files, whether provided via metadac.io, dacademy.ai, or dacos.dental — are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your own professional laboratory use with genuine DACOS hardware.

You may not:

  • redistribute, share, resell, sublicense, or publicly post these files, or provide them to competing manufacturers or any unauthorized party;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, scan, or measure the files or DACOS components to replicate or derive equivalent geometries, designs, tolerances, or calibration references; or
  • manufacture or produce any component substantially derived from DACOS proprietary geometry.

DACOS geometry and calibration methods are protected by a registered Hague design and a pending international patent application (PCT Patent Pending). DACademy access is tied to the email used at purchase and is non-transferable. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any download at any time.

6. External links

The Site contains links to external websites, including dacos.dental, dacademy.ai, and our social network profiles. These sites are operated independently and have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.

7. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". While we work to keep the Site accurate and up to date, we make no warranties — express or implied — about its completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Metadac FZE will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content downloaded from it. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. Privacy

Our handling of personal data collected through the Site is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Emirate of Dubai. If you are a consumer in the European Union, this clause does not affect any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the laws of your country of residence.
